YMCA’s The Little School “La Escuelita”
The purpose of the YMCA’s Little School is to prepare 3 and 4 year old children to enter Kindergarten with skills and experiences that will allow them the greatest opportunity to be successful in an education setting. It is also designed to foster the parent- teacher relationship so that parents are confident and knowledgeable about how to best support young learners.
This community service is lead by the YMCA.  The classes meet three times per week (Tuesday – Thursday) from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm.  There is a nominal fee of $10.00 per child to participate in this program. For more information please contact Mrs. Liz Brasher, 704-989-7887 or (Spanish or English)

The idea of the Street Store is to provide those in need with an opportunity to select clothing, shoes and school supplies for free without stripping those individuals of their dignity. Persons in attendance during this event will be able to select up to 5 items per  family that they deem of high importance. The aim for this project is to help alleviate the burden that accompanies low-income families, unemployment and homelessness.

The next “Street Store” will be held at the church, 591 Pat Mell Rd SE, Smyrna, Ga 30060 on June 14 and August 18, 2017, 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
